Ford uses the Texas 4D63 transponder on the HU101 blade across the Focus, Fiesta, C-Max and Transit era, moved to ID47 and ID49 Hitag Pro on the later cars, and fits Ford Power proximity keys on the keyless models. The older Focus and Cougar still use FO21 with a 4D60 chip.
Programming happens over OBD with brand-specific equipment. On many models we can add a key without the original, and where every key is gone we erase the old set and code a new one.
